Health + Care Balance Pads

Waldhausen Balance Pads support deep muscle training and help improve the horse's coordination. The horse learns to maintain its balance and body tension in a controlled way on a soft, flexible pad. Balance Pads can also enhance the horse's body awareness. Young horses just learning to coordinate their body balance under the rider benefit from stimulating their sense of balance. However, the improvement of balance, coordination, and muscles is beneficial for every horse, regardless of age and training level. We recommend a slow progression. Balance training with pads is advised no more than 1-2 times per week, as it is very demanding for the horse. The use of Balance Pads should be discussed with a veterinarian/chiropractor beforehand if the horse has been injured or has physical issues. Sold in pairs.
