Description:
This double-jointed water snaffle has a spiral-shaped stainless steel roller in the center of the mouthpiece. This roller encourages your horse to play with it, which increases tongue activity. As a result, your horse produces more saliva, leading to better acceptance of the bit and a relaxed feeling.

Product features:
The Sweet Iron bits are made of blue steel and release a sweet-tasting surface rust when in contact with saliva. This sweet taste stimulates natural saliva production, causing the horse to foam more and accept the bit better.

The anatomical design follows the shape of the horse’s mouth, creating a soft and even pressure distribution. A double-jointed bit consists of three parts, with the middle section lying flat on the tongue. This creates more pressure on the tongue than a single-jointed mouthpiece. The thicker the middle section, the more pressure on the tongue.

A bus snaffle has rings that cannot rotate freely, so aids work more directly. This type of bit is generally well accepted because the mouthpiece sits relatively firmly in the mouth.

Maintenance:
If a Sweet Iron bit is not used for a while, an orange-brown rust layer may form on the mouthpiece. This can be easily removed by wiping the bit with a damp cloth.
